My garden studio in Innerleithen is warm, peaceful and fully set up with everything you and your baby need. Designed with comfort and calm in mind, it's the perfect place to slow down, snuggle in and capture those once in a lifetime newborn moments.

I welcome families from across the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh who want honest, natural newborn photography that feels like them.

Simple, Minimal and True to You

My approach is natural and minimalist. No props, no forced posing, just your baby, exactly as they are.

We’ll gently capture all the little details: tiny fingers and toes, a yawn, a stretch, the way your baby fits in your arms. We’ll also take time to photograph you as a family, those first quiet moments together that are over far too quickly.

When Should I Book My Newborn Session?

You’re welcome to book your newborn session during pregnancy. Booking ahead gives us time to plan, and if your baby has already arrived, please ask about availability.

Sessions usually take place when your baby is around 7 to 14 days old, but this isn’t a deadline. Older babies are very welcome too. We’ll follow your baby’s lead, with plenty of time for feeding, changing and cuddles.

Session Length and What to Expect

Each session lasts between 1 and 3 hours, with plenty of flexibility.

That might sound like a long time, but it’s designed to be slow and unhurried. There’s time for feeds, cuddles, changes and homemade cake.

My job is to help you feel relaxed, because when you’re calm, your baby will be too. That’s when the magic happens.

  • Baby-led studio or in-home session

  • Time for feeds, changes and cuddles

  • A beautiful online gallery to choose from

  • Packages range from £395 to £895, depending on the number of photographs and products you choose

To book, a £150 session fee is required. This secures your space and is taken off your chosen package. The remaining balance is due one week before your session.
