I know how quickly these days pass. The early newborn blur, the growing bump, the quiet in-between moments. My job is to help you pause and remember them—without the stress, the pressure, or the awkward posing.
I’ve been a photographer for over 20 years, ever since my grandad gave me a camera on my 18th birthday. Since then, I’ve photographed hundreds of families and been lucky enough to win Scottish Newborn Photographer of the Year three years running.
I’m based in the Scottish Borders and also work as a qualified infant feeding coach and breastfeeding counsellor (The Infant Feeding Coach Scotland), offering support to new mums when they need it most. Before I found photography, I wanted to be a midwife - and I think that part of me still comes through in how I work.
I believe your experience matters just as much as the photographs themselves. I’ll guide you gently, help you feel calm, and give you space to simply be with your bump or baby.
Outside of work, I’m happiest on a hiking up a mountain, on the paddleboard or pottering in the garden. I love sweet peas and peonies, making sourdough, and love nothing more than packing up the van and heading off with my family - my husband Charlie, our adult kids Ruaridh and Ena, and our big softie of a dog, Mungo.
If you’re looking for someone who’ll make you feel seen, supported and relaxed, I’d love to hear from you.
